Interior and Exterior
The Subaru Ascent has a bold and functional exterior design, thanks to its contoured, sleek body plus contemporary accents. It offers LED exterior lights that help enhance your visibility in severe weather elements or at night. It also offers steering-responsive headlights and daytime running lights. Additionally, you can find a new Ascent equipped with power-folding side mirrors with in-built turn signals for more convenience.
The SUV has 8.7 inches of ground clearance plus 18- or 20-inch wheel options, making traveling on uneven roads easier and more comfortable. Its raised roof rails make carrying more cargo for family trips easier. Plus, it offers a power rear liftgate with an automatic close function that makes it convenient to access the cargo area when your hands are full.
Subaru made the 2024 Ascent in different exterior colors that will make you stand out as you explore the Odessa region: Crystal Black Silica, Crimson Red Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Dark Mahogany Pearl, Autumn Green Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic, Cosmic Blue Pearl, and Crystal White Pearl.
Like all other Subaru vehicles, the new version of the Subaru Ascent has a well-built, comfortable, and durable interior. While the base levels might have noticeable hard plastics on some surfaces, the higher trims have more sophisticated materials that will impress your passengers.
The Subaru designers used cloth, StarTex, stain-resistant cloth, Nappa leather, and leather seat upholstery to dress up the various Ascent trim levels. The SUV offers a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather-wrapped shifter handle, and 19 cup holders strategically located throughout the cabin. It has a maximum passenger volume of 153.2 cubic feet with ample head and legroom. The headroom is 41.2 inches, 40 inches, and 36.2 inches, while legroom is 42.2 inches, 38.6 inches, and 31.7 inches for the first, second, and third rows, respectively.
The new family SUV has different seating configurations that let you accommodate seven or eight people. You can use the seven-passenger configuration to access the second-row captain's chairs. It offers more spacious accommodations and easy access to the third row. Alternatively, you can select the eight-passenger configuration with a second-row bench seat plus 60/40 -split flat-folding seatbacks for additional cargo space.
If you are traveling around Stanton with children, you can enjoy the new Ascent's LATCH system, which is among the most versatile and easiest-to-use car seat tethering systems. There are three LATCH connector sets, two for the second-row outboard seats and one for the outboard seat on the third row.
If you choose a model with a second-row middle seat, you will have an upper and lower anchor. The Subaru Ascent has a cargo space of 43.5 cubic feet, which you can increase up to 75.6 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats.
